Musical Chairs, er, Children

There are a number of reasons that for me, adoption compared to abortion is a no go. Top among them is the uncertain future an adopted child may face.

Here's yet another example: Underground network moves children from home to home.

There are moralists who believe that it is better for a child to have its chance in an uncertain world than never be born at all. I wonder, were they one of these (or the adopted girl currently lying at death's door thanks to an abusive 'parent'), would they feel the same?

Abortion will be legal until such abuse can be prevented and moralists, fighting to end abortion, would do well to focus on ending the conditions that create child abuse first.
